THE FRIDAY FUNNIES #8
🗞️ VOLUME 8 🐾
📰THE DYNAMIC DUO- A FATHER DAUGHTER DUO SPINNING INTO THE SPOTLIGHT
Idaho’s David Rush, a creative Guinness record holder teamed up with his daughter Felicity to break a record together. Felicity shadowed her father for years asking for a record of her own. She previously tried “Hungry Hungry Hippos” blind, and cup flipping to name a few. While she was surprisingly good at cup flipping, she didn’t reach the record. Her attempt on this record was for most passes through a back-spun hula hoop in 30 seconds and the previous score was 8. Felicity passed through the hula hoop ten times but one didn’t count toward the record. The entire family was kept in the dark until Mr. Rush received the official word. The certificate arrived weeks later, and Felicity received her first Guinness record.
🐶Piper’s Breakdown: Those Rush characters keep spinning that colorful circle but I’m still waiting for the treats to fly out⭕️🤸✨🏆👨👧
📰A HOME BUILT ON MAGIC -MY LITTLE PONY 4,550 PIECES AND COUNTING
The world’s largest My Little Pony collection belongs to Miranda Worsey at a whopping 4,550 pieces. It all started with a pony named Snowflake that she has held onto all these years. By 2018, the collection of classic figurines, backpacks, mugs, clothes, makeup, even a 30-yr old arcade ride had grown so large she had to move homes just to properly display them all. At one point, she bought a piece so big it wouldn’t fit in her car, and the previous owner had to remove their front door to get it out of their house. She also has one of only two known Fireball ponies in the world, hers was made in Thailand. She’s traveled up to 2 hours to local auctions for selective pieces and is currently searching for a rare pony called Bon Bon from the original cartoon. No luck finding Bon Bon yet.
🐶Piper’s Breakdown: Oh yeah, let’s be friends! But wait… does Fireball taste exactly like he sounds!🦄🌈✨💖
📰VEGAS DOG VACATION-DOODLEPALOOZA 2026
It was a busy dog day at Cowabunga Canyon in Las Vegas where dogs played in the wave pool, splash pad, and kiddie pools while owners watched from nearby. Doodlepalooza 2026 consisted of 296 dogs attempting to break the world record for most dogs at a pool party. A Guinness adjudicator was on-site and called the record in real time. Danielle Dunker from Doodle Rescue USA said, “This record belongs to every dog and person who showed up for a larger purpose.” Doodlepalooza benefited Doodle Rescue USA to support foster placement, vet care, and adoption for Doodles and Poodle mixes.
🐶Piper’s Breakdown: Now we’re barking! Looks like the lifeguards needed a little more training in four-legged precautions.🐶🎉🐾🏖️💦
