📰TRICK OR TREAT- CANDY CORN BUT LET’S MAKE IT PERFUME!
Candy corn was #1 in the candy aisle last year for Brach’s so naturally the next best move was to make it wearable. The Chicago based company’s new “Ode to Candy Corn” perfume smells like buttery caramelized sugar and vanilla for anyone who’s always wanted to smell like this sweet Halloween candy. It was only available two nights, and one has already past so don’t blink 😉
🐶Piper’s Breakdown: I get told I smell like a sweet treat somedays but not normally corn 🍬🌽
📰BIRTHDAY BASH-FIVE GENERATIONS, SAME BIRTHDAY, 118 YEARS
A Silver City, IA family won the Guinness World Record for the most generations born on the same day. Five generations of The Harlow and Bell Family all share the same birthday🎂 September 14th. The Tradition began in 1907 spanning 118 years and alternating between boy, girl, boy, girl, boy. The latest baby boy born last year, right on the magic number 14.🪄
🐶Piper’s Breakdown: I don’t know what everyone is so impressed about. My siblings and I were all born on the same day and we didn’t get an award.🏆 🥇
📰BASIC TRAINING-RACCOON BOOT CAMP
In Pass Christian, Mississippi, a wildlife rescue takes in orphaned baby raccoons and puts them through a boot camp, without the yelling of course. Instead of “Attention!”, the staffers use a shrill trilling call that sends the kits scrambling up trees for safety, with a short whistle to signal the coast is clear. Trainers hide worms in the dirt and crack open pine cones to teach foraging, since many of their mothers didn’t survive or were separated from them. The rescue has graduated 76 recruits so far this year.
🐶Piper’s Breakdown: Instructor Piper reporting for duty 👩🏫, first thing’s first, remember, trash cans aren’t all you can eat buffets, or are they?🦝
